Life at Algonquin

The Algonquin Student’s Association (SA) offers many opportunities to be engaged and shape your college experience. Get involved by joining or starting a club to connect with like-minded peers, attend exciting events, workshops, seminars or even take on a leadership role in the college community as a director or a class representative.

The Jack Doyle Athletics and Recreation Centre on the Ottawa Campus is home to the Algonquin Wolves. The SA owns and operates the varsity teams which includes four major sports (Basketball Rugby, Soccer and Volleyball) – come try out or cheer them on! The SA offers fitness and recreation on each campus with all the equipment and services you need to stay active, with no additional user fees for full-time students.

Residence

Residence offers everything you need for a smooth transition to college life. You’ll find new friends, events, recreation facilities and social activities. Our residence in Ottawa has 520 two-bedroom suites that can accommodate 1,040 students. We accept applications year-round.
