Please also note that Fundamentals of Healthcare is no longer being offered as a two-year diploma program. Michener is in the process of re-designing the program as a suite of stand-alone courses. We will post details about this new structure at Michener.ca in May 2024.

Michener lives in five campuses across UHN in downtown Toronto (Toronto General Hospital campus, Toronto Western Hospital campus, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre campus, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute campus and St. Patrick campus).
All of Michener’s full-time applied health sciences programs are located at the
St. Patrick campus, a dynamic and innovative education facility that combines classrooms, laboratories and simulation suites to promote an integrated experience for students.

Michener’s Student Success Network is available to help all students navigate their experience at Michener and offers a range of services to support students inside and outside of the classroom, as well as virtually. Accessibility and Accommodations Services
Michener strives to ensure the success of students with a documented disability or accommodation need, and will work with the Michener Health Services team and medical practitioners to meet accommodation needs, including in-class, lab and exam accommodations.
Fitness, Athletics and Recreation
Michener’s 24-hour fitness, athletics and recreation facilities are available for all students to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. There is also a gymnasium for intramurals and pick-up sports.
Peer Tutoring
Peer Tutoring is available to current students through the Student Success Network. Students may self-refer or may be recommended by faculty throughout the academic year.
Coaching and Counselling
Michener’s Coaching and Counselling services offer free confidential and professional support for a variety of life’s stresses, ranging from anxiety and depression, homesickness, grief, sexual identity issues and addiction. Academic coaching is available through career workshops and other resources to improve study and exam strategies, communication and stress management skills. Sessions can be in-person, on the phone or over video chat.
Student Residence
Interested in living in the heart of downtown Toronto? Residence life at Michener is safe and convenient. Our Schatz Hall residence is co-ed and offers single rooms with a private washroom. The residence has 24-hour security and is located directly on campus.
