Many programs also have co-op work placements or internships where students will put their knowledge into practice and have the chance to network in the industry.

Depending on the program, courses may also focus on recreational management, where students will learn not only about golf management, but also about ski, tennis and arena facilities operation and maintenance.

Golf course management programs offered at the diploma level require an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including a grade 12 English credit. Programs offered at the degree level require an OSSD, with six grade 12 U or M courses. Be sure to check program requirements carefully.
