Automotive Management Courses

Students in automotive management programs will learn core business theories and policies before focusing on automotive business. Programs encompass a variety of subjects, including (but not limited to):

• Marketing
• Automotive business trends
• Sales
• Management / leadership
• Finance

Students will build analytical and problem-solving skills that will help them develop and understand business, marketing and financial plans. In addition, entrepreneurial and leadership courses will prepare students to work in various business environments and adapt to changes in the workplace and the industry.

Mandatory co-operative work placements throughout automotive management programs equip students with plenty of real-world experience upon graduation. After completing an automotive management program (offered at the degree level) students will also be able to pursue a graduate level business degree (Master’s degree, or MBA).

General Automotive Management Program Requirements

Automotive management programs at Ontario colleges typically require an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including 6 grade 12 courses. A grade 12 English and math credit is also required. It is also recommended that students take a second grade 12 math credit.
