Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology is a leader in the integration of technology and learning. Algonquin has incorporated mobile learning into most full-time programs. Students are expected to have a mobile computing device that meets or exceeds the specifications determined by their program and will be provided access to a suite of software and resources. With campuses in the Nation's Capital and the Ottawa Valley, Algonquin continues to expand facilities and add to its roster of full- and part-time programs at the degree, diploma, certificate and graduate certificate level.

From your first day of orientation at Algonquin, you’ll find a friendly and fun atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for getting involved. Algonquin athletics include 8 varsity sports, as well as recreational activities and athletic facilities, so students at all skill levels can stay active. The student council also organizes a number of events, from comedy nights to concerts and celebrity appearances, giving students the opportunity to socialize outside the classroom.
Algonquin Student Housing
Algonquin student housing strives to meet the needs of all students. Its Woodroffe residence in Ottawa accommodates 1,050 students, and is also equipped with barrier-free suites for 20 students. Suites are furnished and include cable, utilities, internet and phone, as well as laundry facilities and light housekeeping service. Common rooms and a games room equipped with a big-screen TV and pool table give students plenty of space for socializing.
