Living and learning at Durham College
With campuses in Oshawa and Whitby and learning sites in Pickering and Uxbridge, Durham College offers students a wide range of full- and part-time, apprenticeship, continuing education and career development programs. The college is committed to providing its students with the skills employers demand, introducing new programs each year in areas of importance to the current economy.
The college offers numerous diploma-to-degree programs in conjunction with universities in Canada and around the world, allowing students to earn a university degree in less time. In addition, university graduates with appropriate degrees may opt for fast-track college programs, completing their diploma requirements in only two semesters.

Durham College: Oshawa, Whitby, Pickering and Uxbridge sites
The Oshawa campus houses the Student Services building, Campus Library, Integrated Manufacturing Centre and Centre for Integrated Justice Studies. In addition, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre features extensive health services, a 28,000-square-foot triple gym, 10,000-square-foot fitness centre, two squash courts, two 900-square-foot aerobic/dance studios and an elevated indoor walking/jogging track overlooking the gym.
The Whitby campus is home to the college's award-winning Skills Training Centre, a leading facility in preparing apprentices and skilled trades students. The ongoing Whitby campus expansion project began with the opening of a renewable energy learning facility in 2009, and continued with 38,000 square feet of new classrooms, labs and other student spaces in 2011. The final phase of the project will add a 36,000-square-foot Centre for Food, scheduled for completion in 2013.
The Pickering Learning Site is designed for mature, professional learners who seek to further their credentials in a collaborative environment. Offered in partnership with Centennial College, the site offers a number of programs including four Durham College graduate certificate programs, as well as continuing education courses on evenings and weekends.
The Uxbridge Learning Site offers continuing education programming, employment services and introductory college courses designed to act as a springboard to further post-secondary education.

The college knows how important life outside the classroom is, which is why there are more than 70 student groups on campus, a vibrant SA, the Durham Lords varsity sports teams, intramural sports teams, the campus ice and tennis centres, the Student Centre, EP Taylor's Pub and Restaurant and the Health Centre.
Durham Student Housing
Durham College offers a variety of safe, clean, and comfortable on-campus living accommodations at the Simcoe Village and South Village residence buildings, located at the Oshawa campus. First-year students enrolled in September-start programs are guaranteed a room in residence as long as they meet the deadlines set out by the college.
In addition, a number of townhouse units featuring the independence of apartment living while residing on campus are available for students in their upper years of study.
Durham Student Services
Durham College has a state-of-the-art Student Services building at its Oshawa campus that houses the Admissions and Recruitment office, Registration and Records, Career Services, Financial Aid and Awards, Student Life and more.
The college provides students with services and support that have a positive impact on their success and personal development including financial aid and budgeting assistance, information on student loans, on-campus employment opportunities, assistance with accessibility needs, academic advice, peer tutoring, help with study skills and exam preparation, career guidance and advice pre- and post-graduation, and more.
