Since 2000, the foundation has granted bursaries and scholarships totaling more than $2.2 billion dollars. With annual dispersements of over $325 million, these scholarships are well worth looking into. Millennium Scholarships are intended to assist full-time undergraduate students with significant financial need. The Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship was designed to recognize students who have shown academic excellence at the high school level and to assist students with their financial needs as they pursue post-secondary education in Ontario. Please note that the application for this scholarship is located within the OSAP application; you must apply for OSAP to be considered. The maximum amount a student can obtain is $3500 annually. The Garfield Weston Merit Scholarship for Colleges program distributes awards to college students on a national, provincial, and regional level. These scholarships are available to both new college students and to those currently enrolled in a college program.
