Cambrian College, Sudbury
A big part of choosing a college is looking at the city in which you will be living. With a population of approximately 155,000 people, Sudbury provides small town friendliness and big city appeal, making it a great place to live and learn. Sudbury’s many lakes and wilderness surroundings provide lots of winter and summer recreational activities, and its theatres, festivals, concerts, restaurants and retail shopping centers offer plenty of opportunities for part-time employment and an active and enjoyable social life.

Cambrian Student Life
Cambrian offers everything students need for their school studies...and their social studies! From pub nights, toonie lunches, concerts and family fun days, to International dinners, Pow Wows, live entertainment and sporting and social events, there are activities for students of all ages and for all tastes. An athletic centre and plenty of varsity and recreational sports are there for students who want to burn off some energy.

Cambrian Student Housing
Cambrian’s Barrydowne campus has dorm style and townhouse style residences that can accommodate 500 students. Dorm style residence units include two single bedrooms, a three piece bathroom and a kitchenette. Each bedroom includes a double bed, a closet and built-in wardrobe, a study desk and chair, and phone and internet access.

Townhouse residences are composed of six bedrooms, two of which have design adjustments for special needs accommodation. The bedrooms contain a captain’s bed and all the amenities of a dorm-style room. There are three bathrooms in the units – one full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, and two half bathrooms with a toilet and sink or tub/shower and sink.

Cambrian offers a comprehensive range of services to support student success, offered by staff and also by active student and administrative councils. Just a few of these services include:
