Living and learning at Conestoga College


Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is one of only seven Polytechnical Institutes in Canada. Through their six schools - Health Sciences and Community Services, Business, Engineering and Information Technology, Media and Liberal Studies, Languages and Career and Academic Upgrading – Conestoga offers a wide variety of programming, from four-year bachelor degree programs to various trades and apprenticeships.

Conestoga College, Kitchener
Conestoga’s largest campus is located in Kitchener, Ontario, but the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo are almost indistinguishable. Both the cities are amenable to students, featuring plenty of shopping centres, entertainment and outdoor areas.

There are a number of postsecondary institutions in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, which makes for a sociable, friendly environment, with a little spirited rivalry as well.

Conestoga Student Life
Conestoga student life is about getting involved, inside and outside the classroom. Volunteer or paid leadership opportunities, clubs and committees, as well as the Student Life Centre, make it easy to jump right in to the Conestoga College experience.

For students looking to stay active, an arena, gym and numerous fitness facilities and fields give plenty of opportunity for athletic activities and sports at the intramural, extramural and varsity level.

Conestoga Student Housing
Conestoga’s residence has over 520 beds, available in shared two-bedroom or open concept units. While the rooms are equipped with everything students need to live and learn, it’s the Residence Life team that makes the on-campus living experience so rewarding for students. The team organizes a variety of events from movie nights to sporting events, as well as awareness sessions and charity events, to encourage all students to be active in their college experience.

Conestoga has recently constructed a brand new Student Life Centre to house their wide array of services, as well as a new Learning Commons and a bar / bistro for all students. A sample of Conestoga's services includes:
