The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences is Canada’s only post-secondary institution devoted exclusively to health science education. Its graduates serve vital roles in the country’s health care sector, in such fields as Radiation Therapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Respiratory Therapy and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and more.

Michener Students

Michener Student Life
In contrast to the big city where it is located, the Michener Institute is small, which makes it easy to develop friendships, get to know your classmates and engage with the faculty.

Throughout the year, the Student Council organizes a variety of activities, which in the past have included Blue Jays and Raptors games, trips to Canada’s Wonderland, Halloween parties and movie and pub nights. These events give students plenty of opportunity to socialize both on- and off-campus.

Michener Student Housing
Michener’s residence, Schatz Hall, is a five-story wing in the campus’ main building. It houses 12 students per floor in fully furnished single rooms that include a full bathroom. Each floor has a common room with a TV, a full kitchen and laundry facilities.
