Ontario Colleges at 50

2017 is a big year for Ontario's colleges! They're celebrating 50 years of playing a vital role in Ontario's postsecondary education landscape. And like everything they do, they're doing it in style...

Join the Celebration

The Start of Something Amazing is a 15-month long celebration with live and digital events across the province. And you're invited to each and every one of them!

Whether you're an alumnus, current student, staff member, or just live near an Ontario college, you're encouraged to share your stories and join the festivities.

Check out the Amazing50.ca Events page to find out what's happening at a college near you.

Over the past 50 years, 2 million people have graduated from Ontario’s colleges.

Innovation Fund

The 50th-anniversary campaign has one more treat in store! As a tribute to the Hon. William G. Davis (who established the Ontario college system 50 years ago), the advocacy organization Colleges Ontario has launched the new William G. Davis Innovation Fund.

The fund is designed to help drive creative and innovative initiatives from students and graduates who want to use their college education to...well...start something amazing!
