Life at Seneca
Welcome to Toronto
Toronto is Canada’s largest city, and at Seneca, it is right at your doorstep. This world-class city has something for everyone, with thriving arts and music scenes, professional sports teams, fantastic shopping and a vibrant nightlife. Consistently ranked as one of the world’s most livable cities, Toronto is also a great place to study.
Education is more than taking classes. It’s about all the ways you are supported and can get-involved on campus. Join a sports team or student club, go to social events or connect with a student mentor. In whatever you do, you’ll find a community of respectfulness and inclusion and an environment focused on student success.
Living in residence makes the transition to being on your own easy, convenient and fun. Seneca residences at the Newnham and King campuses are composed of suite-style units containing two private bedrooms, a bathroom and ensuite kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. Each bedroom has a double bed, desk, chair, closet and dresser, as well as cable TV, Internet access and a phone line.
Students also have access to group study lounges, common kitchen, laundry rooms, and social lounges for games, movies and other social activities. Residence buildings are safe as they are equipped a front desk, 24-hour video security, and controlled swipe card access.
