If you are currently attending a high school in Ontario, notify your guidance counsellor that you are applying for college. Most high schools will automatically send your grades to ontariocolleges.ca. See the Current Ontario High School Students section on our Transcripts page to learn more about requesting your transcripts.
If you are a graduate of an Ontario high school, AND your high school uses the electronic transcript management process, you will be able to request a transcript as a step in your online application through ontariocolleges.ca. If your high school is not on this list, you will need to contact your guidance office directly and request that they send your transcript to ontariocolleges.ca. See the Former Ontario High School Students section on our Transcripts page to learn more about requesting your transcripts.
You can request your college / university transcripts through the online application. You will need to request one transcript for each college that you want to apply to. For more information, see the Ontario Public College or University Students / Graduates section of our Transcripts page.
If your transcript is from a Canadian high school that is outside of Ontario, you’ll need to have your school send an official transcript to ontariocolleges.ca. For more information, see the Out of Province Students / Graduates section of our Transcripts page.
If your transcript is from a Canadian college or university outside of Ontario, you’ll need to have your institution send an official transcript to ontariocolleges.ca. For more information, see the Out of Province Students / Graduates section of our Transcripts page.
You'll only need to send an interim transcript if you're attending an Ontario college or university and you've applied to a different college program through the online application. You can send both your interim and final transcripts by using the "Transcript Request" option in the online application. In most cases, you will have to pay the transcript fee for both the interim and the final transcript request.
Please note that interim transcripts may not contain your midterm marks. Before requesting an interim transcript, contact the college or university directly to confirm if your midterm marks will be included.
On the Transcript Request page of your application, you will see a checkbox next to the name of your high school. This checkbox means your school supports online transcript orders.
To see if we’ve received your transcript, log in to your application and check the Education screen. Your transcript will be posted there. If you’ve made an online transcript request, go to the Transcript Request page to check the status of your request.
An official transcript is a record of your grades that has been issued by the school you attended. It will have the school stamp and / or seal on it.
Official transcripts should be sent to us directly from the school. For convenience, a transcript can be emailed to us by your school to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Transcripts ordered online through your application are also considered to be official.
Note: Transcripts mailed to us by applicants will be only be accepted if they arrive in the original, sealed (signed and / or stamped) envelope of the institution. We strongly recommend you have your transcript sent to us by your school and do not send it to us yourself.
