City Adult Learning Centre and CALC Secondary School Post-Secondary Fair
This event designed to connect adult learners and secondary school students with a diverse range of post-secondary opportunities. This fair serves as a centralized hub where colleges, universities, apprenticeship programs, and community training organizations can engage directly with motivated individuals exploring their next steps in education or career development. For institutional representatives, this event offers a platform to connect with two key groups: youth preparing to transition from high school, and adult learners returning to education or seeking career shifts. Many attendees come with lived experience, focused goals, and a desire to upskill or reskill — making them ideal candidates for a variety of program streams.
The fair’s purpose is to demystify the application process, highlight pathway options (including mature student admission, upgrading, and second-entry programs), and empower participants with the information and confidence they need to move forward. With on-site guidance counselors, workshops, and informational booths, this event fosters meaningful dialogue and community engagement.
We hope you can join us in shaping futures, strengthening partnerships, and expanding access to education and training for learners of all ages. Your presence can open doors and inspire new journeys!
Additional notes: Parking is available but limited and passes will be emailed prior to the event. Suggested arrival time is 8:30AM with a 9AM start.
